Questions about donating?
Where exactly does my money go?
Every pound funds frontline services: meals, befriending calls, and community transport. We publish a short annual impact report breaking down spend by programme, and our latest accounts are filed with the Charity Commission.
How does Gift Aid work?
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give, at no cost to you. You tick a box when you donate to confirm you are eligible. You can update or cancel the declaration at any time.
Can I cancel a monthly donation?
Yes, at any time. You can cancel from your bank or card statement, or email us and we will stop the next payment. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
Is my payment secure?
All payments are processed by Stripe using bank-grade encryption. We never see or store your card details, and we never share your information with third parties.
Can I donate by cheque or bank transfer?
Yes. Cheques can be made payable to Aylsham Older Peoples Association and posted to our office. For a bank transfer, email us and we will send our account details and a reference code so we can acknowledge your gift.
Who can I contact about my donation?
Email or call during office hours, and someone from the fundraising team will pick it up personally.
