The space
A bright, flexible space
The main hall is 120 square metres of clear floor space with a parquet floor, tall sash windows on the south wall, and a small raised stage at the far end. Acoustics are kind enough for live music, the lighting is dimmable for evening events, and the ceiling height carries a yoga class without feeling like a school gym.
The room reconfigures fast: theatre rows for a talk, round tables for a party, mats and props for a class, or stripped back for a children's birthday. We'll let you in 30 minutes before your hire starts so you can set the room as you need it, and our caretaker is on site to help if you'd like a hand.

Hall hire FAQs
How do I book?
Pick an available slot from the calendar above and follow the booking form. You'll pay a £50 deposit by card to confirm, and the balance is due seven days before your hire. If you'd rather book by phone, call the office on weekdays between 9am and 4pm.
What's included in the price?
Use of the main hall, 60 chairs, 12 trestle tables, projector and PA, fast WiFi, and full kitchen access (kettle, urn, fridge, dishwasher, oven). There's nothing to pay extra for unless you need our setup team to do the room layout, which is £30 added to the booking.
Can I bring my own catering?
Yes, self-catering is welcome and the kitchen is yours to use during your hire. If you're using an outside caterer they're welcome too; we just ask for their contact details and a copy of their food hygiene certificate before the day. We don't take a cut on outside catering.
Is the hall accessible?
Yes. Step-free access throughout, an accessible WC with handrails and emergency cord, a portable hearing loop available on request, and a designated accessible parking bay by the front entrance. If you have specific access needs, get in touch and we'll talk through them before you book.
What's the parking situation?
20 on-site spaces, free for the duration of your hire, including one accessible bay. There's overflow parking on Bell Street (a 90-second walk) which is free after 6pm and on Sundays. We'll send a parking map with your confirmation.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your hire are refunded in full minus a £10 admin fee. Within 48 hours we charge in full, because at that point we're unlikely to be able to re-let the slot. Recurring bookings can be paused with a week's notice with no charge.
